Your role
As a team member, you will be responsible for:
- Communicating with audiences of different technical abilities
- Maintaining calm professionalism under pressure
- Identifying customer / revenue impact
- Creating, tracking and co-ordinating production incident tickets
- Engaging the right on-call to resolve customer or revenue impact
As an individual, you are not afraid of:
- Handling simple server hardware tasks (hard disks, memory, battery changes)
- Learning about navigating the operating system
- Following documented procedures
Requirements
- The ability to learn quickly
- Willing to get the RHCSA and CCNA certifications
- Good English verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work 8 hours per shift within a 24/7 pattern
